Chaoju Eye Care Executes 150,000-Share Buyback; Outstanding Repurchases Reach 3.54 Million Shares

Chaoju Eye Care Holdings Limited released a Next Day Disclosure Return dated 24 July 2026, confirming an on-market repurchase of 150,000 ordinary shares on 24 July at prices between HK$2.60 and HK$2.65, for a total consideration of HK$0.40 million.

The transaction leaves the company’s issued share capital unchanged at 705.18 million shares, as the repurchased stock has not yet been cancelled. Including this latest purchase, the list of repurchases conducted since 2 April 2026—and still awaiting cancellation—now comprises 39 trades amounting to 3.54 million shares, or approximately 0.50 % of the current issued share base. The implied cumulative outlay for these pending cancellations is about HK$9.26 million, based on the disclosed volume-weighted average prices.

Under the shareholder mandate granted on 12 May 2026, Chaoju Eye Care is authorised to repurchase up to 70.52 million shares. To date, 3.16 million shares (0.45 % of the shares outstanding on the mandate date) have been repurchased under this authority, leaving roughly 67.36 million shares—around 95 % of the mandate—still available.

In line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange regulations, the company is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 23 August 2026. All repurchase actions were executed in compliance with the Exchange’s Main Board Listing Rules, and the board has confirmed receipt of all funds and adherence to relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
