Iran Expected to Join the New Development Bank of BRICS in the Near Future

Iran's central bank governor, Abdolnaser Hemmati, has announced that the establishment of the New Development Bank stands as a key achievement of BRICS cooperation, and that Iran will soon become a member.
Hemmati further stated that BRICS member nations have the capacity to conduct trade using their own national currencies, and Iran is actively pursuing bilateral and trilateral currency cooperation with other member states.
