ABBISKO-B (ASX: 02256) has issued an announcement. The company's subsidiary, Shanghai Abbisko Biomedical Technology Co., Ltd. (Abbisko Medical), announced the presentation of preliminary results from a Phase II clinical study at the recent 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting.
The study evaluated its self-developed, first-in-class oral highly selective FGFR2/3 inhibitor ABSK061 in combination with the oral PD-L1 inhibitor ABSSK043, with or without CAPOX (oxaliplatin combined with capecitabine), for the treatment of FGFR2-positive advanced gastric cancer and gastroesophageal junction cancer (GC/GEJC).
The research data indicates that the combination of ABSK061 and ABSSK043, with or without CAPOX, demonstrated a favorable safety profile and promising anti-tumor activity in patients with FGFR2-positive advanced GC/GEJC. These results highlight the potential of this targeted combination immunotherapy strategy as a novel treatment option for this patient population.
