SDHS New Energy Reports 22.6% YoY Drop in April Power Generation; Four-Month Output Down 15.9%

Shandong Hi-Speed New Energy Group Limited (SDHS New Energy) released preliminary operating data showing that its projects, together with those of its associates and joint ventures, generated 0.58 million MWh of electricity in April 2026, down 22.6% year on year. Cumulative generation for the first four months of 2026 reached 2.07 million MWh, a 15.9% decline versus the same period in 2025.

Segment performance • Centralised photovoltaic (PV) plants produced 0.22 million MWh in April, a 14.0% contraction. Aggregate PV output for the January–April period fell 12.8% to 0.79 million MWh. • Wind farms generated 0.25 million MWh in April, sliding 29.1% year on year; four-month output decreased 18.3% to 0.98 million MWh.

Regional dynamics • PV: The steepest April declines occurred in Guangdong (-54.3%), Anhui (-48.7%) and Jiangsu (-39.7%). Shanxi, Jilin and Tianjin posted growth of 84.0%, 17.5% and 19.1%, respectively. • Wind: Henan (-38.5%) and Shandong (-43.7%) recorded the largest setbacks, while Xinjiang achieved a 21.1% increase.

Management attributes these figures to preliminary internal statistics; formal audited results for the year ending 31 December 2026 will follow. Investors are advised to interpret the data with caution pending full financial disclosures.
