ASL Marine Holdings (A04) posts 176.1% surge in nine-month net profit

ASL Marine Holdings Ltd. (A04) on May, 21 2026 reported net profit of 25.4 million Singapore dollars for the nine months ended Mar, 31 2026, a 176.1% increase from the same period a year earlier.

Revenue rose 2.0% year on year to 271.1 million Singapore dollars, buoyed by higher contributions from the ship repair, conversion and engineering services segment and the ship chartering segment, which offset lower shipbuilding revenue.

Gross profit grew 16.6% to 50.7 million Singapore dollars, lifting the overall gross profit margin to 19%. The ship repair, conversion and engineering services unit maintained a margin above 20%, while the ship chartering segment achieved an 18% margin.

Adjusted EBITDA edged up 3.3% to 65.0 million Singapore dollars. The company said finance costs fell by about 10 million Singapore dollars during the period, reflecting ongoing deleveraging efforts.

Managing Director Ang Kok Tian stated that the group remains focused on prudent capital management and disciplined growth initiatives to sustain value creation.
