LONG Inv Corp Warns of Mid-Year Loss Swing to HK$50-60 Million

LONG INV CORP (02312) has issued a profit warning, announcing that the board expects the group to record a loss attributable to owners of the company of approximately HK$50 million to HK$60 million for the six months ending June 30, 2026. This compares to a profit attributable to owners of about HK$1.8 million for the same period in 2025.

Based on currently available information, the board attributes the expected loss primarily to a combination of factors: a net fair value loss on financial assets measured at fair value through profit or loss, reflecting market price changes in certain listed equity securities held by the group; a revaluation loss on digital assets held by the group; and an increase in the group's administrative expenses.

The board emphasized that the fair value and revaluation changes mentioned above are non-cash in nature. Apart from the matters described, as of the date of this announcement, the board is not aware of any other significant adverse changes in the group's financial or operational condition.
