To further enhance the business environment governed by the rule of law and raise intellectual property awareness among innovators and the public, a special event was held on August 14. The Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce, in collaboration with the Xincheng District Court, organized a public hearing observation session for a trademark infringement dispute case, attracting 26 participants including chamber member enterprises and private entrepreneurs.
The trial strictly followed legal procedures, with both sides presenting evidence and engaging in courtroom debates centered on key issues such as trademark ownership confirmation, infringement determination, and legal liability assessment. This hands-on experience provided business representatives with valuable insights into the judicial process.
Following the hearing, the presiding judge delivered a practical lecture based on the case, covering trademark registration and usage, brand protection strategies, common trademark infringement risks in business operations, evidence preservation methods, and available legal remedies. The session also addressed compliance concerns in daily business operations and answered pressing questions regarding intellectual property protection challenges faced by enterprises.
Looking ahead, the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce will continue to deepen its signature legal service initiative "Legal Protection for Enterprise Growth," strengthen multi-department collaboration, and regularly organize activities such as legal education sessions for businesses and court hearing observations. These efforts aim to leverage the power of law in supporting the city's high-quality economic and social development.
