Sasseur REIT details board changes, names new independent director

Sasseur Real Estate Investment Trust said its independent director Wu Geng will step down on Jul, 31 2026. His resignation will see him leave both the Audit and Risk Committee and the Nominating and Remuneration Committee.

The trust manager added that Goh Chyan Pit will join the board as an independent director on Aug, 1 2026 and become a member of the Audit and Risk Committee. The board has assessed Goh as independent under Singapore Exchange rules.

Following these changes, the board will comprise five directors: non-executive chairman Xu Rongcan, non-executive director Yang Xue, lead independent director Gu Qingyang, independent director Cheng Heng Tan and independent director Goh Chyan Pit.

The Audit and Risk Committee will be chaired by Cheng Heng Tan, with Gu Qingyang and Goh Chyan Pit as members. The Nominating and Remuneration Committee will be led by Gu Qingyang, with Xu Rongcan and Cheng Heng Tan as members.

The trust is managed by Sasseur Asset Management Pte. Ltd., which released the changes on Jul, 31 2026.
