HANS CNC (03200) climbed nearly 6% during Thursday's trading session, though gains later moderated to 2.20% at the time of writing, with shares changing hands at HK$107.10 and turnover reaching HK$73.72 million.
The company released its interim results, reporting first-half revenue of RMB 4.985 billion, a 109.29% increase year-on-year. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company surged 263.45% to RMB 957 million. Calculated on a quarterly basis, second-quarter net profit reached RMB 634 million, representing a 96% sequential growth from the first quarter.
The robust performance was primarily driven by significantly rising demand for high-end AI PCBs. With downstream PCB manufacturers maintaining strong capital expenditure momentum, the company saw substantial order growth across its entire product lineup.
Notably, HANS CNC plans to establish a wholly-owned Hong Kong subsidiary, which will in turn set up a sub-subsidiary in Malaysia to invest in a project for the production, research and development, and supporting services of PCB-specific equipment. The projected total investment is capped at US$180 million.
In terms of capacity planning, once the project is fully constructed and reaches complete production capacity, it is expected to achieve an annual production capability of 400 units/sets of high-end PCB-specific equipment.
