J&T Global Express Limited (J&T Express-W) disclosed that on 21 August 2026 it repurchased 752,800 Class B weighted-voting-rights ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The shares were bought at prices ranging between HKD 10.40 and HKD 10.48, translating to a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 10.44 per share and an aggregate outlay of HKD 7.86 million.
Following the transaction, the company’s issued share count (excluding treasury shares) fell from 8.68 billion to 8.68 billion, reflecting a 0.0087% contraction. The repurchased stock has been retained as treasury shares, lifting the treasury balance to 752,800 shares.
The buy-back forms part of a mandate approved on 25 June 2026 that authorises J&T Express-W to repurchase up to 967.47 million shares. Including the latest purchase, the company has repurchased 27.55 million shares under this mandate, equivalent to 0.28% of the share base on the mandate’s approval date.
Under Main Board Rule 10.06(3)(a), J&T Express-W is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or treasury share sales until 20 September 2026.
