Hainan Meilan International Airport Company Limited (Meilan Airport) released an announcement on 23 July 2026 outlining the latest composition of its board of directors and the corresponding committee roles.

The Board now comprises 11 members: 3 executive directors, 3 non-executive directors, 4 independent non-executive directors, and 1 employee director. Wang Hong continues as Chairman and authorised representative, while Qiu Guoliang remains President and Ren Kai serves as Chief Financial Officer.

Committee structures are as follows:

• Audit Committee – chaired by independent director Fung Ching, Simon and comprising Ye Zheng, Liu Hongbin, Xiang Xiujin and Ya Zhihui.

• Nomination Committee – also led by Fung Ching, Simon with members Wang Hong and Liu Hongbin.

• Remuneration Committee – chaired by Fung Ching, Simon with Ren Kai and Liu Hongbin as members.

• Strategic Committee – chaired by Wang Hong and including Fung Ching, Simon, Ye Zheng, Ren Kai and Tang Bi.

The updated structure underscores Meilan Airport’s adherence to corporate governance practices by maintaining a majority of independent directors on key committees and ensuring clear separation of oversight and management responsibilities.
