LC Logistics (LC Logistics, 02490) has closed its previously announced share placement, issuing 42.15 million new shares at HK$3.30 each under its existing general mandate. The transaction settled on 22 June 2026, introducing no fewer than six independent investors, none of whom became substantial shareholders.
Net proceeds totaled HK$137.54 million, implying a net issue price of approximately HK$3.26 per share after placement commissions and expenses.
Use of funds • HK$123.79 million (about 90% of proceeds) is earmarked for potential strategic acquisitions: – minority equity stakes (≤10%) in financial-sector companies to diversify funding channels and reduce financing costs; – acquisitions of logistics businesses with upstream or downstream synergies, with an initial geographic focus on mainland China and select emerging markets in Southeast Asia, South America and Africa. • HK$13.75 million (about 10%) will serve as general working capital, of which roughly 60% is designated for staff, rental and administrative expenses, and 40% for supplier payments.
Shareholding impact The enlarged share capital increased from 572.54 million to 614.69 million shares. Public float rose from 47.58% to 51.18%, driven by the new placees who now hold 6.86%. Major shareholders under the acting-in-concert arrangement declined proportionally, with Lecang Altitude Limited falling from 26.51% to 24.69%.
Management stated that strengthening links with the financial sector should enhance the company’s flexibility in securing timely funding, while targeted logistics acquisitions are expected to deepen regional reach and specialized service capabilities.
