XPeng Inc. Chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng announced that the MONA L03 will have its global launch event in Munich, Germany on July 16, with sales scheduled to commence across 64 countries worldwide by 2026.

He stated that the company is set to significantly accelerate its international expansion starting this year. Currently, approximately 20% of XPeng's sales originate from overseas markets, with an average selling price typically above 45,000 euros. He expressed confidence that the company's globalization efforts will see a substantial leap as more models are introduced to international markets.

Projected Sales Leader

Regarding sales expectations for the MONA L03, He Xiaopeng articulated his belief that the L03 will become the company's highest-volume model globally. He cited its size as being well-suited for many markets and affirmed XPeng's commitment to bringing its technological capabilities to a worldwide audience.

Voice Assistant Expansion Timeline

He Xiaopeng revealed that XPeng began testing its Voice Local Assistant (VLA) in select overseas countries last year, with plans to accelerate deployment after August of this year. The internal goal is to progressively activate VLA in most countries and regions globally from the first to the fourth quarter of next year. The aim for the coming year is to enable users in different countries to interact with their vehicles freely, in their local language, with reliable vehicle control functions available offline. The system is designed to deliver safe, smooth, and efficient performance across various road conditions.

Global Sales Target

XPeng Inc. Senior Director of Vehicle Product, Yang Guang, added that the MONA L03 is positioned to be the best-selling model in the company's history, with the highest sales target set for any vehicle to date. He emphasized it is the first model developed entirely for the global market, justifying its ambitious sales goals. It is projected that within the next year, roughly 30% to 40% of the model's sales will come from international markets.
