Quanta Services (PWR) stock soared 15.30% in pre-market trading Thursday, propelled by a stellar second-quarter earnings report that crushed Wall Street expectations and a significantly upgraded full-year outlook.
The infrastructure solutions provider reported adjusted earnings per share of $4.24, trouncing the analyst consensus of $3.30. Revenue surged 41% year-over-year to $9.56 billion, well above the $8.61 billion estimate. Adjusted EBITDA also blew past forecasts, coming in at $1.10 billion compared to the projected $874.8 million.
Looking ahead, the company dramatically raised its fiscal 2026 guidance. Quanta now expects adjusted EPS between $16.45 and $16.95, far exceeding the $14.01 consensus, and projects revenue in the range of $39.3 billion to $39.7 billion, compared to the prior $35.01 billion estimate. The robust results and optimistic forward view fueled the sharp pre-market rally.
