Via Transportation Inc.'s stock plummeted 7.97% during intraday trading on Tuesday, following the release of its first-quarter 2026 financial results and forward guidance.

The company reported a net loss of $20.15 million for Q1 2026, representing a 23% widening of losses compared to the previous year, despite revenue growing 29% to $127.43 million. Adjusted EBITDA loss narrowed to $5.81 million from $8.26 million, but remained negative with an adjusted EBITDA margin of -5%.

Investors reacted negatively to the company's Q2 platform revenue guidance of $132.5-$134.0 million, which appears to fall short of the consensus estimate of $134.37 million. Management cited "Germany headwinds" and later-year launches of already-won contracts as factors affecting the second-quarter outlook. While the company increased its full-year revenue guidance to $547-$550 million, it maintained its negative adjusted EBITDA outlook of -$12.5 to -$7.5 million, reiterating a target for positive adjusted EBITDA only in Q4 2026.
