According to Beijing Business Today's Beike Finance, Shanghai Airport authorities reported that due to the impact of Typhoon "White Dolphin," the 13th typhoon of the year, the operational capacity of Shanghai Pudong and Hongqiao airports will decline, with nearly 60% of inbound and outbound flights being reduced or canceled. The two airports plan to cancel a total of 1,384 flights on August 9, including 871 flights at Pudong Airport and 513 flights at Hongqiao Airport.
China Eastern Airlines has activated its emergency response mechanism. As of 11:00 a.m. on August 9, it has cumulatively reduced or canceled over 1,200 inbound and outbound flights. Based on the latest forecast from the Central Meteorological Observatory and real-time tracking of the typhoon's path, China Eastern Airlines is continuously updating its operational decisions, focusing on adjustments to flights at airports in Shanghai Pudong, Shanghai Hongqiao, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Taizhou, Wenzhou, Zhoushan, Jiaxing, Yiwu, Fuzhou, and Taipei between August 9 and 10. Taking Shanghai as an example, as of 11:00 a.m. on the 9th, China Eastern Airlines has canceled 585 flights at Shanghai Pudong International Airport and 369 flights at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport.
For cities such as Nanjing, Hefei, and Nanchang, which may enter the typhoon's wind and rain impact zone, China Eastern Airlines is maintaining dynamic assessments, responding based on weather changes and promptly releasing flight adjustment information.

After the typhoon passes, China Eastern Airlines will coordinate plans for supplementary and additional flights, resuming normal operations in batches and by region, to minimize the impact of extreme weather on passenger travel.
Spring Airlines issued a notice stating that due to the typhoon, some inbound and outbound flights have been temporarily canceled. Spring Airlines sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience caused. The airline stated that affected flights can be processed online for non-voluntary changes or refunds with no handling fees.
In the apron operation area, several airlines, including China Eastern Airlines, have focused on securing and reinforcing aircraft and related equipment and facilities ahead of the typhoon's arrival.
