STANCHART: Two Senior Executives Offload £12.21 Million in Shares During Trading Window

Standard Chartered PLC (STANCHART) disclosed that two members of its Group Management Team executed share sales on the London Stock Exchange within the latest permitted trading window, realising a combined £12.21 million.

CEO of Corporate & Investment Banking, Roberto Hoornweg, sold 400,000 ordinary shares on 12 August 2026 at £22.093 per share, generating proceeds of approximately £8.84 million.

Group Chief Operating Officer, Tanuj Kapilashrami, divested 150,000 ordinary shares on 13 August 2026 at £22.484 per share, realising about £3.37 million.

Both executives continue to hold shares in excess of Standard Chartered’s Group Management Team shareholding requirement, according to the filing.

The notification also confirmed that the transactions were initial disclosures and occurred on the London Stock Exchange (XLON). The board, chaired by Maria da Conceicao das Neves Calha Ramos, remains unchanged, comprising two executive directors and nine independent non-executive directors.
