SMART FISH (00139) has announced its financial results for 2025, recording negative revenue of approximately HK$22.3 million. The loss attributable to the company's owners was about HK$137 million, representing a significant increase of 64.61% compared to the previous year. The loss per share was HK11.83 cents. According to the announcement, the negative revenue was primarily due to a net realized loss of roughly HK$90 million from the sale of listed equity investments within the financial investment and services segment. The overall loss was mainly driven by a realized loss on the group's investment in GIBO Holdings Limited, which amounted to HK$235 million. This loss was partially offset by a realized gain of approximately HK$155 million recorded from the sale of shares in Shandong Hi-Speed Holdings Group Limited during the year.
