JF SmartInvest trims free float with HKD 2.57 million share buyback

JF SmartInvest Holdings Ltd (JF SmartInvest) has repurchased 95,000 ordinary shares on 24 June 2026 via on-market transactions on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, according to the company’s Next Day Disclosure Return filed on 24 June 2026.

The shares were bought at prices ranging from HKD 26.48 to HKD 27.36, translating into a volume-weighted average purchase price of HKD 27.03 and an aggregate consideration of HKD 2.57 million. All repurchased shares have been retained as treasury shares.

Capital structure impact • Treasury shares rose to 4.44 million, up by 95,000 shares from the previous day’s 4.35 million. • Issued shares excluding treasury shares declined to 463.92 million from 464.01 million, representing a marginal 0.0205% reduction. • Total issued shares, inclusive of treasury stock, remained unchanged at 468.36 million.

Repurchase mandate utilisation • The board’s buyback mandate, approved on 18 June 2026, allows for the repurchase of up to 46.41 million shares. • Including the latest transaction, 369,800 shares have been bought back under the mandate, equivalent to 0.0797% of the company’s issued shares at the mandate date. • A moratorium on new share issues or treasury share sales is in effect until 24 July 2026 in line with Hong Kong listing rules.

The company affirmed that all repurchases complied with the Hong Kong Main Board Listing Rules and other regulatory requirements.
