GuocoLand (Malaysia) to halt trading on Jul, 30 2026 before RM1.10-per-share privatisation

GuocoLand (Malaysia) Bhd (GUOCO) said its ordinary shares will be suspended from trading on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia starting 9:00 a.m. on Jul, 30 2026, one market day before the entitlement date for its selective capital reduction and repayment exercise.

The last day for investors to trade the shares will be until 5:00 p.m. on Jul, 29 2026. Trading will remain suspended until the company is delisted following completion of the privatisation.

Shareholders other than GLL (Malaysia) Pte Ltd whose names appear on the company’s record of depositors at 5:00 p.m. on the Jul, 31 2026 entitlement date will receive RM1.10 in cash for each share held. Payment is expected within 10 days after the High Court’s sealed order confirming the capital reduction is lodged with the Registrar of Companies.
