Beijing-based Tong Ren Tang Technologies announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Beijing Tong Ren Tang Chinese Medicine Company Limited, has received the Certificate of Registration of Proprietary Chinese Medicine from the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong for “Antelope Horn Powder Capsules【Tong Ren Tang】” (registration number: HKC-18854). The certificate is valid until 21 May 2031, enabling the product to be marketed within Hong Kong.

The new medicine is indicated for pacifying the liver and extinguishing wind, clearing the liver, improving vision, and addressing conditions such as convulsions, epilepsy, high fever with seizures, headache, dizziness, red eyes, swelling abscess, and skin infections.

Cumulative research and development expenditure on the product totals approximately HK$1.83 million (unaudited). Commercial sales have not yet commenced.

Management expects the approval to broaden the Group’s product portfolio and support future market expansion in Hong Kong. The board stated that the certification does not presently exert a material impact on the Group’s production, operations, or financial performance. External factors—including policy changes, exchange-rate movements, and competitive dynamics—could influence eventual sales performance.
