Robots Unnecessary for Emotional, Warm Property Services, Says Expert

Deep News
Aug 13

At the 2026 Boao Real Estate Forum, the 2026 Boao Property and Urban Services Conference commenced on the morning of August 13th. During a thematic discussion session, Lin Muxiong, founder and CEO of Yizhi Control Robot, stated that while many property service scenarios can currently utilize robots, the primary consideration should be economic value.

Scenarios with economic value primarily include cleaning tasks, and those involving high repetition and frequency. In these contexts, robots can perform functions such as 24-hour patrols and delivery services.

Lin Muxiong further emphasized that robots are unsuitable for areas where the costs do not add up. Additionally, there is no need to use robots for services that require emotional value, on-site judgment, or a warm, personal touch.
