Sri Trang Gloves (Thailand) Public Company Limited (STGT) said its board on May, 8 2026 approved a second share repurchase programme with a budget not exceeding about 25.3 million Singapore dollars.

The company plans to buy back up to 62.1 million shares, representing no more than 2.17 % of its total paid-up capital, through automated order matching on the Stock Exchange of Thailand between May, 12 2026 and Nov, 7 2026.

STGT said the action is aimed at optimising excess liquidity, supporting its financial position and lifting key ratios such as return on equity and earnings per share.

As of May, 8 2026 the company had already held 100.18 million treasury shares, or 3.50 % of issued stock. Completion of the new programme would raise the total to 162.28 million shares, or 5.66 % of shares outstanding, remaining below the 20 % regulatory ceiling, the company added.
