VOICECOMM Technology (02495) saw its shares rise more than 6%. At the time of writing, the stock was up 6.03%, trading at HK$54.5, with a turnover of HK$4.5965 million. The movement follows a recent announcement from the company indicating that the group anticipates achieving a net profit of no less than RMB 120 million for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025. This contrasts with a net loss of approximately RMB 481 million reported for the year ended December 31, 2024. Based on currently available information, the board of directors attributes this expected turnaround to a loss of RMB 633 million recorded in the 2024 fiscal year, which was primarily due to changes in the carrying value of redeemable investments. Following the completion of the company's global offering, the balance of these redeemable investments was reclassified from financial liabilities to equity. Consequently, the impact of changes in the carrying value of these redeemable investments has ceased and did not affect the group's financial statements for the 2025 fiscal year.
