UltraGreen.ai's stock plummeted 7.38% during Tuesday's trading session, with the decline accelerating at the market close.
The healthcare intelligence company reported an 8.7% year-over-year decline in total vial shipments during the first quarter, falling to 280,900 vials from 307,600 vials a year earlier. This shipment decline was cited as the primary driver for the stock's significant drop.
Despite the negative shipment news, the company expanded its regulatory coverage to 41 countries during the quarter and secured regulatory approval in Singapore for Verdye, an indocyanine green injection used in fluorescence-guided surgical procedures. The broader Singapore market also edged down slightly amid regional tensions, though UltraGreen.ai's decline was more pronounced.
