Stock Track | KB LAMINATES Plummets 11.40% in pre-market as Insider Sales and PCB Sector Woes Intensify

KB LAMINATES shares plunged 11.40% in pre-market trading on Tuesday, extending a brutal downtrend that has seen the stock lose over 60% from its peak of HKD 107.

The sharp decline was triggered by persistent insider disposals and deepening concerns across the PCB sector. Major shareholder Hallgain Management Limited and multiple directors have been conducting intensive share sales, with controlling shareholder Kingboard Holdings cashing out approximately HKD 14.5 billion through two large-scale disposals this year. Adding to the selling pressure, Executive Director Zhang Jiahao sold 1 million shares at an average price of HKD 42.10 on July 20.

Meanwhile, fears of a price war are mounting as remote PCB industry capacity collectively comes online. With funds concentrating on realizing floating profits during the interim results window, the stock has faced sustained downward pressure. Sector peer Kingboard Holdings also fell 7.25%, reflecting the broad-based weakness in the PCB space.
