Tan Chong International Passes AGM Resolutions and Reshuffles Board Committees

Tan Chong International Limited announced that all resolutions tabled at its annual general meeting on May, 22 2026 were approved by poll. Shareholders backed the adoption of the fiscal-year 2025 financial statements, a final dividend, the re-election of three executive directors, authorisation of directors’ fees, the reappointment of KPMG as auditor, and the renewal of share-issuance and share-buy-back mandates. All motions received at least 96.69% support from the 2.01 billion shares eligible to vote.

The company also confirmed that independent non-executive directors Azman Bin Badrillah and Teo Ek Kee retired at the close of the meeting after choosing not to seek re-election.

Effective May, 22 2026, Charles Tseng Chia Chun has been appointed chairman of the remuneration committee, while Prechaya Ebrahim has joined both the audit and remuneration committees.
