Tanwan Inc., a Cayman Islands–incorporated company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, disclosed a share buy-back executed on 7 May 2026. The company repurchased 20,000 ordinary shares on-market at prices ranging from HK$15.65 to HK$15.85 per share, for a total consideration of HK$0.31 million.
Following the transaction, Tanwan’s outstanding share count (excluding treasury shares) declined to 521.96 million, down from 521.98 million before the repurchase. Treasury shares increased to 12.48 million, while the total issued share capital remained unchanged at 534.44 million shares, as the repurchased stock was retained in treasury.
The buy-back was executed under the general mandate granted by shareholders on 19 June 2025, which authorises Tanwan to repurchase up to 53.31 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 11.10 million shares, representing 2.08 % of the company’s issued shares outstanding on the mandate date. In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, Tanwan is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share sales until 6 June 2026.
