Jardine Cycle & Carriage begins voluntary liquidation of two Myanmar subsidiaries

Jardine Cycle & Carriage Limited announced on Aug, 04 2026 that its wholly owned subsidiaries Cycle & Carriage Automobile Alliance Company Limited and Automobile Alliance Company Limited have entered voluntary liquidation proceedings in Myanmar.

Cycle & Carriage Automobile Alliance Company Limited has started a Members’ Voluntary Winding-Up, while Automobile Alliance Company Limited has initiated a Creditors’ Voluntary Winding-Up. Liquidators have been appointed for both entities under the Myanmar Insolvency Law.

The company said the liquidations are not expected to have any material impact on its net tangible assets per share or earnings per share for the financial year ending Dec, 31 2026. Jardine Cycle & Carriage added that none of its directors or controlling shareholders has any direct or indirect interest in the process beyond their existing shareholdings or directorships in the affected subsidiaries.
