FIH Mobile trims outstanding share count via July buy-backs, authorised capital steady at USD 800 million

FIH Mobile Limited (FIH) has released its monthly return for the period ended 31 July 2026, highlighting a small share-count reduction driven by on-market repurchases while leaving total authorised capital unchanged.

Authorised share capital • Remained at 2.00 billion ordinary shares with a par value of USD 0.40 each, equivalent to USD 800.00 million.

Issued and treasury shares • Outstanding shares (excluding treasury) fell by 0.41 million to 781.60 million. • Treasury shares rose by an equivalent 0.41 million to 6.85 million, leaving total issued shares stable at 788.45 million. • The net reduction represents approximately 0.05 % of shares outstanding at the end of June.

Repurchase activity • Four buy-back transactions, executed between 2 and 7 July 2026 under the mandate approved on 22 May 2026, accounted for the entire 414,000-share movement into treasury.

Equity incentive schemes • No options were outstanding or exercised under the 19 May 2023 Share Option Scheme; the scheme still allows for up to 56.58 million additional shares to be granted. • The Share Scheme adopted on the same date has 19.07 million shares available, with no shares issued or transferred during the month.

Public float • The company confirmed compliance with the Main Board’s minimum 25 % public-float requirement as at 31 July 2026.

No warrants, convertibles or other share-issuing agreements were active during the month, and the company raised no funds from equity exercises.
