Hezhou Party Secretary Li Guozhong and Mayor Peng Daiyuan met with Luo Yong, Party Secretary and Chairman of Guangxi Key Metals Group, on July 29 to discuss deepening government-enterprise cooperation and promoting high-quality development of the key metals industry.

Li Guozhong and Peng Daiyuan, on behalf of the Hezhou Municipal Party Committee and Government, welcomed Luo Yong and his delegation. Li stated that Hezhou is currently focusing on high-quality development as its primary task, leveraging its geographical advantages and resource endowments to build distinctive industrial clusters in green high-end calcium carbonate and new metal materials. He noted that Hezhou has abundant mineral resources and a solid foundation in the new metal materials industry.

Guangxi Key Metals Group, as the first provincial-level key metals industrial group in the country, is an important state-owned enterprise platform established by the autonomous region to safeguard national strategic resource security and promote high-quality industrial development. The cooperation potential between the two parties is vast. Li expressed hope that Guangxi Key Metals Group would fully utilize its advantages in resources, technology, and platforms to actively participate in Hezhou's mineral resource integration and industrial layout optimization, driving the key metals industry chain towards high-end, intelligent, and green development. This would inject new momentum into Hezhou’s high-quality development during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period. Hezhou will continue to improve its business environment, strengthen factor guarantees, and provide full-cycle services to ensure the efficient implementation of cooperative projects.

Luo Yong thanked the Hezhou Municipal Party Committee and Government for their support and introduced Guangxi Key Metals Group's development positioning, core business layout, and strategic plans. He stated that Hezhou's rich natural resources, solid industrial foundation, and excellent business environment are highly compatible with the group's development strategy. Guangxi Key Metals Group will earnestly implement the directives of the autonomous region's Party Committee and Government, uphold the mission of a state-owned enterprise, fully leverage its strengths, and deepen cooperation with Hezhou in various areas. The focus will be on mineral resource integration, deep processing of key metals, and the development of new materials industries, aiming to facilitate more high-quality projects and contribute jointly to the region's high-quality development.
