AK MEDICAL adds 0.85 million new shares in July on option exercises; public float remains compliant

AK Medical Holdings Limited disclosed in its July 2026 Monthly Return that 0.85 million new ordinary shares were issued during the month through employee share-option exercises, lifting the company’s outstanding share count to 1.09 billion.

The newly issued shares stemmed from two schemes: • Pre-IPO Share Option Scheme: 325,000 options exercised at HK$1.34 each. • 2019 Share Option Scheme: 527,984 options exercised at HK$4.66 each.

These exercises generated HK$2.90 million in proceeds and expanded the issued share base (excluding treasury shares) by 0.08% to 1,093.21 million shares as at 31 July 2026.

Treasury shares were unchanged at 32.26 million, keeping total issued shares (including treasury stock) at 1.13 billion. The company also reiterated that 15.56 million shares repurchased between 6 February and 8 June 2026 remain pending cancellation.

Authorised share capital stood steady at 2.00 billion shares with a par value of HK$0.01, equivalent to HK$20.00 million. AK Medical confirmed that its public float exceeded the Main Board’s 25% minimum threshold as of month-end.
