CIMC Buys Back 0.02% of H Shares, Adding 0.71 Million to Treasury

China International Marine Containers (Group) Co., Ltd. (CIMC) disclosed on 21 May 2026 that it repurchased 711,900 H shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange the same day.

The shares were bought at prices ranging from HKD 8.75 to HKD 9.02, for a total consideration of HKD 6.38 million and a volume-weighted average price of HKD 8.96. All repurchased shares have been retained as treasury stock.

Following the transaction, CIMC’s issued share count (excluding treasury shares) fell to 3,027.70 million, down 0.02%, while treasury shares increased to 62.14 million. The company’s total issued share capital remains unchanged at 3,089.84 million shares.

The buyback forms part of the mandate approved on 15 May 2025, which allows CIMC to repurchase up to 308.98 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 62.14 million shares, equivalent to 2.01% of the shares outstanding on the mandate date.

Under Hong Kong listing rules, CIMC is restricted from issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 20 June 2026.
