Memory stocks traded mixed in pre-market. SK hynix fell more than 3%, Micron Technology slipped 1%, SanDisk Corp. gained 0.63%, while Silicon Motion Technology surged more than 10% after upbeat earnings.

Silicon Motion Technology's Q2 earnings beat market expectations across all key metrics. Non-GAAP earnings came in at $2.43 per diluted ADS, surpassing the analyst consensus of $2.13 by approximately 14%, representing a 252% year-over-year increase from $0.69. Revenue reached $451 million versus the expected $403.4 million, a beat of roughly 11.8%. Adjusted gross margin reached 50.2%.
