TELIX PHARMACEUTICALS LTD (TLX.AU) saw its stock price soar 7.58% during intraday trading on Monday, following a significant corporate announcement.
The sharp increase is attributed to the company's newly announced strategic collaboration with leading biotechnology firm Regeneron Pharmaceuticals. The agreement focuses on the co-development and co-commercialization of next-generation radiopharmaceutical therapies for oncology.
Under the terms of the deal, Telix will receive an upfront cash payment of US$40 million and is eligible for potential development and commercial milestone payments of up to US$2.1 billion, plus royalties on future net sales. The collaboration combines Telix's radiopharmaceutical development platform and manufacturing capabilities with Regeneron's extensive biologics expertise and antibody discovery technologies, operating on a 50/50 cost and profit-sharing model for initial programs.
