MINIMAX-WP (00100) saw its stock price rise more than 7% in the afternoon session. At the time of writing, the gain was 7.16%, with the stock trading at HK$823.5 and a turnover of HK$1.67 billion. The catalyst for the move was the announcement by Hang Seng Indexes Company of its Q1 2026 quarterly index review results, which included MINIMAX-WP as a constituent of the Hang Seng Tech Index.
CICC noted that due to MINIMAX-WP's weighted voting rights (WVR) structure, it must meet additional criteria, including being listed for at least six months and 20 trading days. Therefore, it will not be included in the Stock Connect scheme during the upcoming June review. If it subsequently meets the market capitalization and turnover requirements, it could potentially be included in the Stock Connect program in August.
It is worth noting that in May, MINIMAX upgraded its AI Agent product to "Mavis," launching an "Agent Team" collaborative mode designed to overcome the limitations of single-agent capabilities, significantly enhancing its practical implementation. Concurrently, the company initiated its "10x Team" plan, targeting five key vertical sectors including industrial software, chip design, and finance. This strategic focus aligns deeply with the national policy direction of developing new quality productive forces.
