Catalyst Metals Ltd (CYL.AU) saw its stock price soar 5.05% during intraday trading on Wednesday, following the release of promising exploration updates.
The company announced that drill results at the Cinnamon trend within the Plutonic Gold Belt in Western Australia have significantly increased the strike length of a higher-grade zone by 75% to over 700 meters. The results included high-grade intercepts such as 38 meters at 10.5 grams per tonne gold and 17 meters at 21.5 grams per tonne gold.
This discovery has the potential to establish Cinnamon as a sixth underground ore source for the centralized Plutonic processing plant, supporting Catalyst Metals' plan to boost gold production to approximately 200,000 ounces. The ongoing exploration success is viewed as reducing operational risk and providing greater contingency for the company's long-term growth strategy.
