The city of Jinchuan has recently completed construction on a new public fitness center, which will soon open to all residents free of charge. "Previously, exercising or playing sports was only possible in open-air venues. Now, with such a professional facility, we can work out anytime," said a local resident, Zelong, happily.

The Jinchuan Public Fitness Center is located on Tunsheng Street in Lewu Town. It features independent activity spaces for basketball, table tennis, martial arts, aerobic fitness, billiards, and dance, all equipped with various types of sports apparatus. Considering the high-altitude region's cold winter climate, the facility has also been fitted with heating systems.

"The opening of the Public Fitness Center will address the previous lack of a large, comprehensive indoor sports venue in Jinchuan County," stated A Luo, Deputy Director of the County's Culture, Radio, Television, Sports, and Tourism Bureau. He added that the county plans to utilize the center as a permanent base for regularly hosting various public sports events, fitness education programs, and cultural and sports public welfare activities. Efforts will continue to enhance the quality and upgrade sports infrastructure, thereby filling gaps in urban amenities and consistently improving the sense of happiness and fulfillment among the populace.
