Market Close: Domestic Futures Contracts Show Widespread Losses; Crude Oil and Fuel Oil Drop Over 8%

On July 27, 2026, at the midday close of trading, domestic futures major contracts experienced a broad decline, with losses outweighing gains.

Specifically, SC crude oil and fuel oil fell by more than 8%, while pure benzene dropped over 7%. Synthetic rubber, styrene (EB), low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), and PX0-paraxylene all decreased by more than 6%, with liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) falling nearly 6%.

On the upside, palladium, platinum, and silver gained more than 3%, lithium carbonate and tin rose over 2%, and red dates, gold, and caustic soda increased by more than 1%.
