CapitaLand Ascott Trust said on May, 08 2026 that it has entered into a revolving credit facility of up to 145 million Singapore dollars with DBS Bank.
Under the agreement, the real estate investment trust must continue to be managed by CapitaLand Ascott Trust Management or another wholly owned unit of CapitaLand Investment Limited. Breach of this condition would allow the lender to cancel the facility and demand repayment within 14 days, together with accrued interest.
The trust added that a default could also trigger cross-defaults on other borrowings, potentially affecting about 3.185 billion Singapore dollars of outstanding debt. No breach of the covenant has occurred to date.
