Snowflake (SNOW) shares surged 5.05% during Monday's intraday trading session, as a wave of Wall Street analyst upgrades and a broader sector revaluation of AI data platforms drove strong investor demand.
The rally was fueled by multiple investment banks raising their price targets on the stock. UBS lifted its target to $370, RBC Capital Markets raised to $313 with an Outperform rating, Deutsche Bank increased to $300, Jefferies maintained a Buy rating with a $310 target, and BTIG lifted its target to $340 from $325. The upgrades were partly catalyzed by competitor Databricks completing a $3 billion strategic funding round at a $188 billion valuation, which prompted a sector-wide reassessment of AI data platform companies.
Adding to the positive momentum, Snowflake recently launched its Cortex AI Gateway and multiple AI security innovations designed to help enterprises securely scale their agentic ecosystems, addressing critical barriers around security and cost management in large-scale AI deployment. These product developments reinforced the company's competitive positioning in the fast-growing enterprise AI infrastructure market.
