Zhaoke Ophthalmology-B to Initiate Share Buyback Program Valued Up to HK$100 Million

Zhaoke Ophthalmology-B has announced that its board of directors has approved a share repurchase plan with a maximum value of HK$100 million, to be implemented over a 12-month period.

Under the approved repurchase authority, the company is permitted to buy back up to 10% of its total issued shares as of the date the relevant resolution was passed, equating to a maximum of 54,874,901 shares.

The shares repurchased under this authority will be cancelled at an appropriate future time.

The company stated that it considered multiple factors in formulating the buyback plan, including its business outlook, operational performance, financial condition, and future profitability.

The board of directors believes that implementing this share repurchase plan demonstrates its confidence in the group's business prospects and outlook, and will help create long-term value for shareholders.

The company plans to fund the share repurchases using its internal financial resources.
