Prudential plc announced that UBS Group AG has increased its aggregate holding in the company to 5.155180 % of total voting rights, passing the 5 % disclosure threshold required under UK regulations.

The notification, dated Mar, 31 2026, states that UBS Group AG’s position was reached on Mar, 27 2026 and comprises 127,509,087 ordinary shares representing 5.044417 % of voting rights, plus a further 0.110763 % held through various financial instruments, including depositary receipts, options, swaps and a reverse convertible bond.

In total, UBS Group AG and its controlled undertakings now control 130,308,903 voting rights in Prudential plc. The previous disclosure showed a 5.094366 % stake.

The filing was made in accordance with the UK’s Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules and was completed in Zurich, Switzerland.
