TDI-Brooks Concludes Offshore Seismic and Geochemical Studies in Trinidad and Tobago

The U.S.-based firm TDI-Brooks has finalized a two-dimensional high-resolution shallow hazard seismic survey offshore Trinidad and Tobago. The acquired and processed line data provides risk assessment support for planned offshore cluster facility installations and subsequent drilling operations in the region. Through the acquisition, processing, and interpretation of the 2D high-resolution seismic data, the target study area has been effectively evaluated, thereby reducing associated risks. The survey encompassed approximately 80 line kilometers and was executed by the R/V GYRE survey vessel, which is owned by TDI-Brooks.

Furthermore, the R/V GYRE recently completed a near-surface geochemical exploration project near Jamaica and a multibeam bathymetry and environmental baseline survey project near Aruba. The vessel is currently engaged in a multi-client oil and gas seep survey project off Liberia for GeoPartners Ltd., and will subsequently undertake a project lasting several weeks for the AAGP pipeline.
