PATEO (02889) saw its shares rise more than 7% during the morning trading session. As of the time of writing, the stock was up 7.28% to HK$185.6, with a turnover of HK$66.95 million. On the news front, the Kunpeng Ascend Developer Conference 2026 was successfully held at the Beijing Zhongguancun International Innovation Center on May 22. At this conference, several innovative technologies from Ascend and Kunpeng were unveiled, covering architectural innovations for Kunpeng and Ascend super nodes, open-source software advancements, and continuous improvements in usability. On May 25, Huawei officially announced the Tao (τ) Law, marking the first time a Chinese enterprise has proposed a new principle for global industrial development in the chip sector. Guosheng Securities previously released a research report stating that PATEO is deeply integrated with the HarmonyOS ecosystem. Its self-developed QING OS boasts high openness and compatibility and works in deep synergy with the Kirin 9610A processor, creating an ecosystem barrier. The report noted that the company's core benefits stem from the high growth in deliveries of HarmonyOS-powered smart vehicle models. Furthermore, it is comprehensively advancing its global expansion, with ongoing progress in overseas client engagements expected to gradually contribute incremental gains.
