Since mulching operations began in early May, various management areas have seized clear weather, coordinated agricultural machinery resources, and strictly implemented operational requirements of "straight film laying, firm film pressing, and tight soil covering." Technicians have supervised the entire process to ensure the film is laid flat with edges firmly sealed, fully utilizing its functions of "heat preservation, moisture retention, and weed suppression." Currently, the branch has completed its corn mulching operations with high quality, laying a solid foundation for subsequent corn sowing. "The mulching film is like a thermal blanket for the soil, effectively raising ground temperature by 2-3°C, allowing corn to emerge about a week earlier.
