Solomon Systech (International) Limited (02878) announced that, based on preliminary review of unaudited consolidated management accounts, the group’s profit attributable to shareholders for the year ended 31 December 2025 is expected to range from US$3.50 million to US$4.00 million. This represents a decrease of about 60%–65% when compared with the US$10.10 million recorded for the previous year.
According to the announcement, the drop in average selling price of products led to a lower gross profit, and higher research and development expenses for new product development further impacted the results. Nonetheless, the announcement noted that shipment quantity in the new display IC segment continues to show steady growth, supported by sufficient resources for ongoing R&D initiatives.
Final results for the year ended 31 December 2025 are still in the process of being finalized and have not been audited or reviewed by the company’s independent external auditors. The announcement emphasized that actual figures may differ upon completion of the audit. The final annual results are expected to be published before the end of March 2026, and investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s shares.
