ENVISION GREEN (01783) surged more than 5% in early trading, currently up 4.60% at HKD 4.665, with a turnover of HKD 31.0863 million. The company recently announced that its proposed acquisition target has signed a binding service agreement with a major Chinese technology firm. The contract is expected to generate additional annualised EBITDA of no less than RMB 480 million over the five-year term, with a total contract value exceeding RMB 2.4 billion.

This milestone satisfies a key financial condition for the third tranche payment of the acquisition, validating the target company's profitability ahead of schedule. The move provides substantial support for the company's strategic shift into the AI computing infrastructure sector. According to previous disclosures, ENVISION GREEN plans to acquire the target equity (all issued shares of YV CLOUD Limited and its operating company Shanghai Youfu Cloud Computing Co., Ltd.) from seller Yovole Cayman, with a maximum consideration of HKD 2.5 billion.

The target group primarily provides cloud computing services and holds relevant licenses for such operations. The group has established extensive networks in the internet data centre and cloud computing sectors and is qualified to purchase high-performance GPUs needed for its cloud services.
