Li Auto Executes US$5.14 Million Share Buyback, Trimming Outstanding Stock by 0.04%

Li Auto Inc. disclosed that it repurchased 740,664 Class A weighted-voting-rights (WVR) ordinary shares on 29 July 2026 via the Nasdaq Global Select Market, paying between USD 6.85 and USD 7.00 per share. The volume-weighted average purchase price was approximately USD 6.94, bringing the aggregate consideration to USD 5.14 million.

Following the transaction, Li Auto’s issued share count (excluding treasury shares) decreased by 0.04% to 1.73 billion shares, while treasury share holdings rose to 83.70 million. Total issued shares remained unchanged at 1.82 billion, as the bought-back stock will be retained as treasury shares rather than cancelled.

The buyback was executed under the mandate approved on 29 May 2026, which authorises the repurchase of up to 214.28 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 64.10 million shares, equating to 2.99% of the company’s outstanding share base on the mandate date.

In line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange regulations, Li Auto is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or further disposals of treasury shares until 28 August 2026.
