Lenovo held the ThinkBook "Starlight AI Gratitude Celebration" event at its Beijing Future Center on August 20th, marking a significant commercial milestone for the product line. Since the brand's inception in 2019, cumulative global shipments of all ThinkBook models have exceeded 20 million units, with domestic Chinese market sales reaching 8 million units.

During the event, leveraging the built-in Tianxi AI personal super agent, ThinkBook distilled seven years of heartwarming stories shared with its users to generate a personalized "AI love letter to users," which was displayed on the venue's main screen. The celebration also served as the launch pad for a groundbreaking interactive device, the ThinkBook Plus Auto Twist, whose forward-thinking design has already secured multiple international design accolades. This machine incorporates Lenovo's proprietary AI sensing system and a dedicated auto-rotating hinge, enabling real-time sound source tracking and user position recognition to autonomously adjust the screen for optimal viewing angles, while supporting seamless transitions across notebook, share, and tablet modes.

The device features a 2.8K 120Hz high-refresh-rate OLED professional display with accurate color reproduction and comfortable viewing, delivering robust performance for smooth multitasking and creative workflows without compromising power efficiency or battery life. Additionally, Lenovo unveiled three new models: the ThinkBook X AI 2026, ThinkBook 14+ 2026 Core Ultra Edition, and ThinkBook 16+ 2026 Core Ultra Edition. The ThinkBook X AI 2026 weighs a mere 1.06kg with a slim 12.9mm profile, offered in a palette of trendy colors including Starlight White, Galaxy Purple, Star Blue, Star Green, and Moon Yellow. Powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor with 64TOPS of GPU computing power, its 14-inch OLED screen boasts a 90.8% screen-to-body ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 1100 nits, and full 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, complemented by Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, a 65Wh battery, and a large glass touchpad for all-day mobile productivity.

Catering to professionals and creative designers demanding high performance, expansive screens, and extended battery life, the ThinkBook 14+ 2026 Core Ultra Edition delivers up to 70W of sustained performance with 47TOPS of NPU AI computing power. Its 14.5-inch 3K display covers 100% DCI-P3 for precise photo editing and video cutting, features a 30-120Hz variable refresh rate for power efficiency or smooth visuals, and is equipped with LPCAMM2 dual-channel high-speed memory, dual storage slots, ten versatile ports, and a 99.9Wh high-capacity battery. The ThinkBook 16+ 2026 Core Ultra Edition sports a 16-inch 3.2K display with a 92% screen-to-body ratio, expanding creative possibilities for AI-driven art, supporting 30-165Hz variable refresh rates and Dolby Vision for vivid, fluid imagery.

All three new devices integrate Tianxi AI, evolving from passive response to proactive service, from single-turn conversations to full-process execution, and from generic tools to dedicated companions. Starting August 20th, the "820 ThinkBook Gratitude Day" campaign runs across online and offline channels, offering direct purchase discounts, extended warranties, branded merchandise, and Tianxi AI membership perks. To commemorate the sales milestone, ThinkBook has crafted two special edition laptops with exclusive A-side engraved designs, where the 80th purchaser will receive a custom edition marking the 8 million China milestone and the 200th purchaser will receive one symbolizing the 20 million global achievement.
